Stunning 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 in the iconic 996.2 form. This car has the very desirable ‘drivers spec’ being a C2 Manual with no sunroof. Finished in Arctic Silver metallic with Dark Blue full leather interior and sporting a lovely set of 19″ 997 Carrera Classic wheels shod with almost new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres. Bose digital sound system, PCM 2 which includes telephone prep and sat nav (disc present and working), fully electrically adjustable seats, Tequipment handbrake and gear knob, Litronic headlights, 2 Keys and hand books present, MOT until 14 September 19. 141,000 Miles, no engine issues whatsoever, all inspections welcomed! It also has a custom modified to suit Carrera 4S style rear spoiler – the top part of the spoiler is fixed in position but can be raised or lowered manually to suit. The reason I bought this car, and the reason why this car stands clear of the rest is due to the amount of maintenance its had, particularly over the past 3 years, including the Single Row IMS upgrade, but also because of the expensive but very desirable GT3 Throttle Body mated to the IPD competition plenum which is being fed via a K&N air filter. Now these modifications claim an increase in around 25bhp, I have never had the car tested but a seat of the pants test will confirm this car does not lack in power – it is considerably punchier than my last 996.1. Additionally to those modifications, this car also benefits from a lovely stainless duplex exhaust, a deep baffled motorsport sump and, it also appears to be using a low temperature thermostat (no receipt) as it runs at the same temperature of my previous car which also had this fitted. If you have done any research on the 996, you will know that theIMS upgrade, baffled sump and thermostat mod protect this car from any harm… Here is the last 3 years of work carried out: March 17 – Discs and Pads front and rear April 17 – New Starter Motor – 6 Spark plugs – K&N air filter May 17 – Drive Belt – FVD Deep baffled motorsport engine oil sump (design 911) – 2x Variocam Solenoids June 17 – Motul Gear 300 75w-90 gearbox/ diff oil change – Fuchs titan Race Pro S 5w-40 engine oil (these oils are the best on the market) July 17 – Temp Sensor – GT3 82mm Throttle Body and IPD competition Plenum (design 911) Sept 17 – DOT 4 Brake fluid Feb 18 – Oil seperator Mar 18 – IMS upgrade (design 911) and RMS seal Oil pump seal, Oil Pressure Switch, Water Pump, Ignition coils, AOS pipes, Oil filler neck, Main Water Hose, AC re-gas. (this was an engine and gearbox out job where the cars condition was assessed and parts replaced as necessary) June 18 – Motul Gear 300 75w-90 gearbox/ diff oil change – Fuchs titan Race Pro S 5w-40 engine oil – Spark Plugs – Front and Rear Pads Aug 18 – New Windscreen – Front drop links Sep 18 – Diff oil seal Feb 19 – Gear linkage cables – 997 Shifter upgrade Mar 19 – Bosch S4 010 80Ah battery So there you have it, a lovely useable 911 with a bit of extra power and all the expensive bits taken care of. Still in regular use, please call for a chat and of course, viewings recommended with test drives available upon proof of insurance or from the passenger seat. Located in Telford, Junction 6 M54. Many thanks, David.
