Hi there, I have decided to sell my gorgeous Porsche 911 through a lack of use and want a motorhome instead due to a change of priorities. I have owned this car for the past two years and it has been faultless. Prior to my ownership, it had been very well looked after by a company director from new, I believe. I am confident that this is the best condition 997.1 variant 911 you will find for sale today. The car has no known faults whatsoever, and has a number of valuable and sought after factory fitted optional extras that make this a very desirable 911. I spent a lot of time looking for a really well cared for model before selecting this one. My car has been stored in a heated garage and although it is not used, it is started every few weeks and ran around the block to keep it working as it should. Additional Extras The list of additional extras include; * Rear parking sensors* Two keys* Fully electric heated sports seats* Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM)* Tiptronic sports gearbox* Bi-Xenon Headlights* Bose enhanced sound system/speakers* Porsche floor mats* Factory fitted CD Changer (note: Currently disconnected but still in the vehicle – see below). Further upgrades Since owning the car, I decided to upgrade the factory fitted head unit/ Sat Nav, to bring this right up to date. This Kenwood touch screen display has been professionally fitted and appears Integral to the rest of the car, and provides a USB port discretely in the centre console, in keeping with newer 911s. This unit has also significantly improved the existing Bose Sound system And includes a graphic equaliser and surround sound to improve it further still. The new stereo works with either Android Auto or Apple Carplay to provide voice recognition, Google Maps Sat Nav, Waze, Spotify and a host of other features at the touch of a button. It also allows you to even hear and reply to WhatsApp and Facebook messages simply by speaking. For the purists, I do still have the original head unit which can easily be put back into the car, if so desired. This is included in the sale. Service History The car has full service history, with all receipts, has 11 months of MOT remaining having just been done and has completed only 72,000 miles since new. Last service was in August last year. * Porsche Main Dealer, 19,891 miles (Minor Service)* Porsche Main Dealer, 40,019 miles (Major Service)* Porsche Specialist, 56,295 miles (Minor Service but drive belts and plugs changed)* Porsche Specialist, 62,482 miles (Major Service)* Porsche Specialist, 70,984 miles (Minor Service) For some who have read about IMS bearing issues on 911s, please be aware that the 2007 model year were updated to strengthen this weak point on earlier models and has not been an issue. If you want a true future classic, and what purists consider the last truly great 911, then this is the car for you. These cars are now an appreciating classic, with prices currently rising at an estimated £1000 per year (but don’t take my word for it – do your homework!). This is largely due to the 997 being the last ever 911 with hydraulic rather than numb electronic steering, and a naturally aspirated 3.8ltr petrol engine (surprisingly returning 30-35mpg!). Please, no tyre kickers, and no one with feedback lower than 10. I will not let anyone test drive this car without proof of comprehensive insurance cover, given the type of car and value. I am open to offers, but they must be sensible ones. I know what this car is worth and I am not desperate to sell it. Car sold on cleared funds only, to be paid within 72 hours of the sale concluding. Good luck and happy bidding!
